Wellspring’s Nutrition Program
The Wellspring Hawaii Nutrition Program focuses on what matters for long-term weight loss -- gaining the knowledge and skills proven by research for success in becoming a long-term weight controller. Wellspring is not a diet or a teen diet. The curriculum was developed by researchers and exceptional students at Wellspring Academies, our revolutionary boarding schools that focus on weight loss and healthy living. In other words, our nutrition program is based on the knowledge and experience of weight loss experts and those who have successfully lived the Wellspring Plan.

Unfortunately, Wellspring Hawaii cannot last forever and campers must return home with the skills necessary to face everyday challenges.
A major tool for success is Wellspring Hawaii’s Culinary Program. Armed with the basic skills to cook low-fat favorites, campers return home ready to transform their kitchens into low-calorie, delicious havens.

Many of our alumni parents and siblings have also shed pounds and benefited from this aspect of the Wellspring Plan. In fact, 90% of families reported in surveys that they, too, had lost weight. This is due both to the camper’s new culinary input at home, as well as Wellspring’s unique Family Workshop program.
