Wellspring Hawaii has an approach to diet management that does not resemble any other “diet” program. This is because Wellspring trains you to love foods that love you back – to make nutritious choices and a complete lifestyle makeover.
The islands provide a bounty of locally grown tropical fruits, vegetables and fresh fish - creating a healthy and delicious menu unlike anything else.

Wellspring offers very low-fat, low calorie-density controlled foods and uncontrolled foods at each meal. Campers receive one portion of controlled food as well as a delicious selection of uncontrolled. For instance, if BBQ Chicken Sandwiches and Corn on the Cob are served, campers also have an unlimited choice of fat-free yogurts, cottage cheese, egg salad, tuna salad, soups, vegetables, salad items, fruits, and plentiful condiments.

Campers receive three meals and two snacks served per day to develop a routine that will maximize success upon returning home.
Wellspring does not rigidly restrict food. Rather, campers are provided the opportunity to learn to regulate their own intake in a supportive and therapeutic environment. There is no calorie limit -- just the opportunity to make wise food choices and monitor them so that they can be discussed in CBT sessions. This leads phenomenal long-term weight loss!
